We were born with the dream of becoming leaders of specialty coffee on an international stage. We are passionate and determined. We are committed to local producers in order to achieve an honest kitchen, prioritizing fresh, organic and seasonal products. We care about relations and we see specialty coffee as a perfect tool for social transformation. We love creating experiences and sharing moments.

Surry Hills Coffee was born in Buenos Aires in the spring of 2019. Inspired by the streets of Surry Hills, the trendiest neighborhood in Sydney, we seek to bring specialty coffee and all-day Australian brunch to the vibes of the well known Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires. We offer a relaxing and minimalist space where to give the perfect atmosphere to break free from your routine.

We serve good coffee, fresh food and take the customer experience as flagship. Sharing sunny mornings of Surry Hills with a flat white and a classic bacon & egg roll was undoubtedly one of the great motivations to replicate that task in Buenos Aires and others cities in the world.

Two years later Surry Hills came to life in the narrow streets of the old town of Palma, the most cosmopolitan and beautiful city of the Balearic Islands. With specialty coffee scene in full growth and km 0 ingredients as one of the main mottos, Surry Hills offers something different to the Majorcan community and its more than 15 million tourists who visit the island every year.

Location is perfect, a traditional building from the 1900’s at famous neighbourhood La Missió, surrounded by many cafes and restaurants including the famous Mercat de l´Olivar.

Right after the Mallorcan opening, Surry Hills was ready to move forward with the second store in Buenos Aires. It is located in the beautiful area of Las Cañitas, also inside Palermo neighbourhood.

With the solid experience of the stores in Buenos Aires and Palma de Mallorca, we decided to go even further. Driven by challenge, Surry Hills was ready to disembark in the Sunshine State. Miami´s specialty coffee scene is in full growth and keen to get the Aussie vibes.

All that experience pushed us to face new challenges. It is with great pride that we present our latest and most innovative project. A place for the specialty coffee community in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. HOTTO Coffee Lab x Surry Hills. Inspired in Tokyo. Born in Mallorca. HOTTO is an espresso and brew bar but at the same time it is a coffee school and a micro roastery.
